Wacky Frames grew out of the passion for photography and decoration of Gaëtan Defontaine, Cécile Defontaine and Jean-Paul Gontier, who founded the KERPIX corporation. Wacky Frames are patented products at the INPI.
This web site is the birth certificate of the KERPIX project and we would like to seize the opportunity to thank all its partners and especially the study cabinet that gave birth to Wacky Frames after 9 months of research and development. KERPIX also wishes to thank the KERWAN agency that designed this web site and gave a real personality to Wacky Frames.
Out of a concern for sustainable development, Wacky Frames and their packaging are entirely manufactured in France by suppliers who are geographically very close to each other. The raw material used is entirely recyclable and KERPIX contributes financially to the eco-packaging program.
For example, the absence of protective glass - it is useless on a frame meant for frequently changing photos - is a concrete decision of KERPIX in view of sustainable development that saves not only on raw materials (no production of flat glass) but also on 50% of energy consumed in transportation through lighter products for an equal volume, and of course produces less waste.
The attractive project of KERPIX was selected to accommodate the start-up building of the Paris Chamber of Commerce and to benefit from a network of innovative companies.
