How to attach the frames on a wall ?

Wackyframes® are lightweight: only 50 grs each; there are many ways to attach it :

• Drawing pin
• Magnet
• Small nail or screw
• Double sided sticky tape

A 9 frames assembly perfectly stands with one drawing pin only.

How do I insert a photo into a Wackyframes® ?

• With Wackyframes®, there is no more glass cover, no backing, no more unmounting: the photo is inserted manually through one of the sides of the frame through the slice (see arrows on the white part). Delicately push in the photo with your finger until it fits.
• The frame can be used in any position: horizontally or vertically. An invisible photo brake delicately blocks the photo to prevent it from falling into vertical position. To remove the photo, all you need to do is to lightly touch it with your finger to take it out of the frame.

How to use the clips ?

• The clips come in a package of 6 cutable clips.
• Each clip is equipped with 2 tiny blades: a large one and a small one, as well as a handle for locking and unlocking. You insert the small blade into the slice of the frame; the large blade must be visible under the frame, which is equipped with a system of notching on its back.

Why are there 6 clips in each box of 3 frames ?

• To assemble 3 frames (1 box), you need 4 clips. You keep the 2 other clips out of children's reach or use them for other assemblies.
• Please note that the clips are not sold separately.

How do I join 2 frames together?

• To connect 2 frames, it is recommended to lay them on a table the first time. To fasten them better, always use 2 clips for each connection between 2 frames.
• Insert 2 clips on the same side of a first frame, then bring the second frame closer to the first one. You hear a "click." The 2 frames are solidly joined.
• Turn over the assembly and press with your thumbs on each large blade of the clip to check that both its extremities are correctly positioned in one of the notches on the back of the frame.
• To unlock the clip, turn the handle. The clip revolves on its axis and unlocks the 2 frames at the same time. Be careful if you remove the clips directly against a wall, and hold both frames with one hand while doing this. Removing a clip makes the whole assembly fragile and can make the frames fall down.

Do I have to prepare a specific positioning of the frame in the assemblies?

• Yes, it is recommended to position each frame so you can change the photo without having to undo the assembly, that is so the photo can be taken out freely.

How many attachment points on the wall are required for my frame assembly ?

• For an assembly of 3 frames, generally all you need is one attachment point. Find the point of balance of the assembly by holding it up with one finger.
• For an assembly of over 3 frames, you may have to use several attachment points: 1, 2, 3 or 4. In this case, do the assembly on a table, then hold it vertically with both hands to simulate the points of balance.
• Another solution is to use an attachment point on the wall to begin the assembly, then end the assembly and straighten it up to the position desired. Then write down with a pencil the determined extra indispensable attachment point or points.

What sort of screws should I use ?

• The perforations make 4mm diameter, we thus advise screws up to 3,5mm of maximum diameter to hang the frames.

Decorating tips adapted to Wackyframes® :

• The harmony of the frames with the tone of the photos is an important factor in decoration: always place photos with clear color tones into dark frames, and vice versa.
